The devastating bushfires happening all over Australia have penetrated the news all around the world, leaving viewers feeling disheartened at the tragic loss Australia has had to suffer.
And if you’re feeling a little sad yourself, here’s a some refreshing news that might brighten your day.
According to News.com.au, life has returned to the forests with plants and bushes starting to grow back among the burnt out trees!
Aussies have been sharing beautiful images of the regeneration that’s been taking place which gives us hope that everything is going to be okay.
Murray Lowe from New South Wales, Australia shared a series of images that he captured from Kulnara on the Central Coast of NSW this week.
“Ventured out into the fire grounds today to capture some images of how the Aussie bush responds to fire, and the way it regenerates itself and comes back to life,” he said.
“Even without any rain, life bursts through the burnt bark from the heart of the trees and the life cycle begins again.”
“It’s so heartening to see the bush coming back to life again.”
Murray is now selling the photos and will be giving the profits to help victims of the fires.
Several other people have also shared the regrowth of plants, shoots, and even fungi that are sprouting from the trunks of eucalyptus trees. What a wonderful sight to see new plants growing in the burnt out forests in Australia. Hopefully the fire doesn’t do anymore damage and that life will start to return to these places of nature.
