While we are still recovering from the disturbing video of Raj’s Banana Leaf plates being washed in muddy potholes, another video has surfaced showing even more unethical work practices taking place.
The video that recently went viral showed a Pos Laju staff roughly tossing parcels into a cage trolley before the mail was sorted out at the Sungai Petani branch in Kedah a few days ago, reported The Star.
Pos Malaysia Berhad has since issued serious warnings to its staff regarding the matter and will be doing an internal investigation on the incident.

“We want to assure you, our customers and stakeholders, that this is not reflective of who we are, or of our values at Pos Malaysia,” it said in a statement on Tuesday (May 29) night.
They have labelled this as an “isolated” incident and assured their customers that they have always enforced strict standard operating procedures and codes of conduct in the company.
“However, in this unfortunate circumstance, we apologise for where we were not perfect and did not live up to your expectations,” it said.
“We know that we carry a huge responsibility for the nation and we strive to live up to these standards of the highest order.”

Pos Malaysia added that they will ensure proper work processes are practised by carrying out regular checks in the future, and that they will launch internal engagements to understand how they can further improve their processes and adherence to their service delivery standards.
