With the ongoing genocide in Palestine, they need ALL the help they can, from food to shelter and access to medicines.

In a Facebook post by the Royal Malaysian Air Force last night (August 16), 2 jets filled with Palestinian patients had safely landed at the Subang Airport to receive treatment in Malaysian hospitals.

41 Palestinians were injured as a result of Israeli attacks on the Gaza Peninsula, accompanied by 86 of their heirs.

Their arrival at around 2:30 pm yesterday aboard two A-400M aircraft belonging to the Royal Malaysian Air Force (TUDM) was also welcomed by the Minister of Defense, Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin, and the Palestinian Ambassador to Malaysia, Walid Abu Ali.

“We have been planning this mission for a long time but needed to get approval from the Kingdom of Egypt, apart from looking at various alternatives in this effort,” Khaled said.

All 41 injured patients were then diagnosed at the health stage at the Medan TUDM Hospital before being taken to the Tuanku Mizan Military Hospital (HAT) in Wangsa Maju for further treatment.

The mission was carried out based on humanitarian considerations and as a solidarity of the people of this country with the Palestinian people and Malaysia’s stance against inhumane acts or genocide.

A total of 127 Palestinians, who are the victims of war, were brought into Malaysia in this mission, and they had gone through the documentation process with the Immigration department.

The affected patients suffered injuries, including cuts and broken legs, as well as missing limbs.

The Malaysian Armed Forces (ATM) will also monitor their safety throughout this period.

We hope the Palestinians feel safe in their temporary shelter here, and we thank the Malaysian government, as well as the Royal Malaysian Air Force, for their efforts in bringing in the victims of war to get the treatment they deserve!
