A Singaporean man, Joseph Phua, took to his Facebook page to offer SG$10,000 (approximately RM32,805) to anyone who could return his wife’s lost white iPhone 15 Pro Max, which was accidentally left in a Singaporean shopping mall toilet and subsequently picked up by someone else.

He wrote, “SG$10,000 reward for the return of a phone in Singapore, no questions asked. Hi there, my wife lost her iPhone in Singapore at Ion Shopping Mall’s toilet yesterday (Tuesday, October 15) at around 2pm.”

“The phone holds our family photos for the last 2 years, (it is) of great sentimental value to us. We should’ve backed it up but unfortunately, we didn’t.”

He managed to track some of the phone’s movements, which went from Terrasse Lane to Sumang Lane in Singapore.

“The phone has been locked remotely and its IMEI number has been reported to the police as misappropriated. If an attempt to sell the phone has been made anywhere, the police will be notified and it will be tracked down,” he added.

They just want the phone back and they’re willing to pay a hefty price for it.

Ultimately, he and his family just want the phone back due to its sentimental value and is willing to pay for its safe return.

“Please, if you found the phone, we understand you (must be) busy and did not have the time or opportunity to return it yet. If you can kindly return the phone to any police station as ‘lost and found’, we would be more than happy to not continue to pursue this,”

“Alternatively, we would like to thank you for your kind effort in returning the phone to us and have a reward for you. If you happen to have found the phone somewhere, sometime between yesterday and now, please email us at moc.liamgobfsctd-6af8c1@sraeyowtnruter to arrange for a handover and we will provide a cash reward of SG$10,000, no questions asked,” he explained.

Additionally, anyone with information that can lead to the person currently holding the phone and their whereabouts can also receive a reward of SG$5,000 (RM16,400).

“We will not stop searching for the phone until its safe return.”
