Imagine having to go to a doctor due to an injury caused by a signboard while walking!

That’s the unfortunate situation a man had to endure in Kepong when he walked into a signboard and the sharp edge left a gash in his forehead.

Taking to XiaoHongShu, the man showcased the signboard, which is located near the Kepong MRT station. But, what makes this worse is that the doctor he visited to treat the gash told him that multiple people have endured the same experience and have gotten injured by the signboard’s sharp edge.

He wrote, “Everyone should pay attention to safety. My head was injured. Be careful of this signboard near the Kepong MRT station. It turns out that I’m not the only one who got hurt.”

“The doctor said several people have experienced this and they needed to get stitches. Fortunately, I was a little bit lucky.”

The doctor who treated him also decided to take a look at the signboard that was sending them so many injured patients!

Well, considering that the signage might have caused more harm than good, it’s gone now!

According to a report by China Press, the authorities have since removed the signboard.

They mentioned that the signboard was initially placed at a much higher position but was suspected to have been knocked down to a lower position, which led to the injuries.

The authorities also urged the people to inform their local authorities should there be signboards in dangerous positions.
