In Malaysia, the law states that those who want to ride a motorbike must possess a license and wear a safety helmet. Sadly, children are commonly seen jumping on the nearest motorbike and going for a fun ride around their housing area.
Some might think it’s fine and nothing bad will happen to them because they are within the vicinity of their home. But the fact is, you should never trust a child with a potential killing machine.
Recently a video was shared by a netizen who stopped an underage boy riding a motorbike without a helmet. He sternly questioned the boy,
“Where is your license? Where do your stay? Why did you ride like you were racing just now?”
The boy started to become defensive saying that his house is just nearby and he wasn’t racing. Immediately after that, the boy was told to go home. He agreed and said politely,
“I’m really sorry, abang.”

Although the video is kinda funny, the issue here is that there are kids out there putting their lives (and others) in danger by recklessly riding motorbikes. It’s a problem that is kind of swept under a rug, and authorities always turn a blind eye.
To all parents out there, please take this matter seriously as the change must start at home. You risk losing the life of your beloved child.
