How would you react if you realised that you accidentally left your prized belongings on a flight?
While most people would freak out, this Singaporean man remained calm when he realised he had left his Apple MacBook on a Singapore Airlines flight from New Zealand to Singapore.
In a Facebook post, the man, Siew Tuck Wah said that he never panicked throughout the whole ordeal simply because he trusted the good folks at Changi International Airport would keep his laptop safe and have it returned without much fuss.
In the post, Siew shared how he carelessly left his laptop onboard the flight but was confident of retrieving the item because it involved Singapore Airlines and Changi Airport.
He asserted,
“Changi Airport is more than just home. It’s a symbol of efficiency and trust. I disembarked the plane back from NZ 2 days ago and muddleheadedly left my laptop onboard. But because it was Singapore Airlines and Changi, I did not panic,”
Siew added that while he had to drive down to the airport again and wait for the airport staff to bring the item from the plane to the lost and found department, it was not much of a hassle and the MacBook was safely returned to him in no time.
He then thanked Changi Airport and Singapore Airlines for the excellent service and for always being a friend.

The post has since gone viral, garnering over 6,400 reactions and more than 160 comments as of the time of writing, with many netizens also sharing their positive experience with the airlines and airport in the comments section.
One commenter, who turned out to be a Changi Airport staff asserted that the airport team take great pride in consistently going beyond the extra mile.
Meanwhile, another commenter shared her experience of how Singapore Airlines kept her tablet safe at an airport in Johannesburg for 2 weeks after she accidentally left it inside a connecting flight.
