Students Who Wrote ‘F*ck Cikgu’ On School Uniforms Remanded and Charged in Court
Recently, Malaysians were outraged by a couple of students who wrote derogatory statements directed towards their teachers at the back of their school uniforms,
The two students seen riding motorcycles with “F*ck cikgu” written on the back of their shirts have since been remanded.
According to Harian Metro, the two students who wore school uniforms with insults to teachers were charged in the Magistrate’s Court in Kota Bharu, today.
Both 17-year-olds pleaded guilty when the charges were read out to them.
Based on the charges, the two students were found to have worn shirts with insults and obscenities that disturbed the local peace as it was worn in public.
This allegedly happened at the Chempaka roundabout at 4pm on 3 March.
They have since been charged under Section 14 of the Minor Offenses Act 1955 and may be fined not more than RM100.
The court set an RM100 bail for each of them with one surety and set for re-mention of the case and a probation report for 22 June.
It is understandable to not be happy with your school and teachers, but an education isn’t something to take for granted and teachers should be appreciated.
