A sunflower farm in Bagan Datuk, Perak is the latest attraction for those looking for that next insta-worthy scenery, with 0.8-hectare farm promising a beautiful panorama.

According to owner Khor Weng Kian, his farm receives almost 400 visitors came to the farm every day where they take pictures with giant sunflower plants, feeding fish and ducks.

“We had the idea to open this farm after seeing tourists who like to take pictures with sunflowers growing by the roadside as backdrops.”

“So, from there, we realised the sunflower plant has its own attraction and we want this farm to be a new tourist location in Bagan Datuk.”

If you have the time simply put in a search in Facebook and you will see just how picturesque the place is.

According to Khor sunflowers have a short life span and he has had to plant three lots to ensure sunflowers are always available to ensure that there will be no disappointed customers.

“Actually, the sunflower seeds are very cheap. But the cost of caring for the plants are very high because they are always damaged by insects and need optimum care.”

If you’re thinking of visiting the farm anytime soon, it is open from 9am to 7pm everyday, with entrances fees starting at RM5 to RM13 according to age.
