Bullies may think that their actions make them seem cool but those are just illusions. Bullying can have adverse effects on people, with some cases even leading to suicides.

Hence why bullying should never be tolerated.

As according to the Info Roadblock JPJ/POLIS Facebook page, the three 17-year-old boys who were beating up a 13-year-old boy in a school dormitory in Tanah Merah, Kelantan, have been remanded.

They apparently decided to beat the boy up after he had fallen back on a promise to treat them to fast food. A video of the incident was recently circulating social media sites, where the boys could be seen beating the victim down, then picking him back up so that they can continue their assault.

The three suspects are currently being held until this coming Sunday (13 September, 2020) in order to help the investigation under Section 506 of the Penal Code for criminal intimidation and Section 323 of the Penal Code for intentionally causing injury.

These boys could have dealt with the broken promise in more civilised ways, for instance, by voicing out their dissatisfaction.

Before you even think of bullying someone, ask yourself “Is this really worth going to jail for?”
