We’re all familiar with screening through job vacancies online, and this particular vacancy surprised the many netizens of Twitterjaya.

A job opening with the title “Office Admin Data Entry” was posted on Indeed.com with a long list of requirements including having a “perfect attitude” and no day-offs to help friends and family who are met with accidents. Woah, we wonder why the employer was so specific about these requirements!

But that’s not the shocking part, because the employer also forbids their staff from taking day-offs to attend FUNERALS. WTF!?

The list goes on with threatening their future employee that if their attendance is “not good”, his or her IC will be keyed into various job sites and blacklisted. Wow, who would want to work for an employer like that?

This job vacancy was shared on Twitter by Qalam (@qalamchikey), who was wondering what kind of shitty company this is.

According to the original tweet, this is a company from Bandar Bukit Tinggi, Klang, and if you thought this was a troll listing, some netizens actually managed to find the company that posted this vacancy.

Many of them pointed out that not only does the company underpay their employees, but they’re also expecting people to work for them as slaves. The pay for this job was listed between the range of RM1,100 – RM1,300, and the employee is required to work for 5.5 days per week (that means working on the weekend as well). We thought this employer might as well just use AI instead of hiring actual human and treating them like slaves!

Incidents like this remind us that inhumane employers still exist in Malaysia, and job hunting sites should screen job vacancies properly. Hopefully, no one would apply for that job because the company obviously has no regards for human rights.
