Marvel fans, we have good news for you! There will be a new Marvel theme park opening really soon and it’s located pretty close to us! Known as the Marvel Experience, this theme park is set to be opened in Bangkok, Thailand from June 29 and it looks like it is going to be epic fun.
You may have heard of this theme park before as previously it was slated to open in May 2018 but there were some unforeseen delays. However, they have recently announced on their Facebook page that they will be ready for opening on June 29 and Marvel fans could not be more excited.
The location of the theme park will be at Bang Kaeo, Bang Phli, Samut Prakan next to Mega Bangna Shopping Mall and IKEA Bangna. It is actually not very far away from the city centre as it only takes 30 minutes by car. Now, you can live out your dreams to be a superhero at the 10,000sqm Marvel Experience, which is set to thrill adventure-seeking fans as it allows visitors to participate in their interactive adventures.
Touted to be the first-of-its-kind, the journey through this exciting experience will have you fighting alongside some of Marvel’s most popular heroes such as Spider-Man, Iron Man, Hulk, Thor, Black Widow, Wolverine and Captain America. How cool is that?
The interactive adventure will bring you through an indoor experience at the standing 360-degree, 3-D stereoscopic projection Dome. Other attractions include a state-of-the-art motion ride, plenty of augmented and virtual reality that will amaze you, multi-person gaming and simulations, interactive touch screens, multiple themed cafés, a megastore and more! We heard that you might meet some real-life superheroes as well!
Tickets are priced at 1,350THB (RM164) for children measuring 100cm to 120cm while for adults, tickets will cost 1,500THB (RM183) each. You can also take the BTS Sky Train to get to the theme park; just take Bangwa line and get off at BTS Udomsuk Station. There is a free round-trip shuttle bus provided by Megabangna too.
