If you’re a fan of hard candy on a stick, especially the ones by Chupa Chups, chances are you’ve heard of its famous flavoured lip balms and even shower gel. However, besides its skincare and bodycare merchandise, if you’ve always wondered what it’d taste like if it were in drink form, wonder no more.
That’s because there’s now a sparkling soda version of the famous colourful lollies!
According to Coconuts, the lollipop company recently launched the fizzy drink edition in three fruity flavours namely strawberry and cream, grape and orange.
Hmm, is it just me or they look and sound like diabetes in a can?
Apparently, netizens first heard of this news when Singaporean Twitter celeb Xavier Lur tweeted about it earlier this week on Monday (4th Dec).
Xavier also said he purchased these drinks from a convenience store called Koryo Mart located near Beauty World MRT station in Singapore.
It was reported that these soft drinks first made its debut in South Korea but is now made available in the island country and retails for S$1.80 (approx. RM5.40) per pop.
Wonder when it’ll arrive here?
Well, we did some research and found that Malaysians can actually purchase the Chupa Chups drinks online for RM40 (currently on discount at RM25.30) for three cans of each flavour.
Oh, the wonders of internet.
So, would you try these sparkling soda versions or would you rather stick to the lollipops? Let us know what you think of the drink once you give it a go!
