After staying in the city for too long, it is always great to get in touch with nature. Since it has been raining quite hard for the past week, it may not be very safe to go to the mountains or the sea.
So, the next best thing is to go to a park, of course.
Coincidentally, the KL Park Festival is taking place starting from 4 to 12 March and based on the photos shared by DBKL, it looks like a very good location to take all your IG-worthy shots while learning about plants.
The park festival takes place at Taman Tasik Titiwangsa and it’s open from 9am till 10pm.
Many talks and workshops were arranged by the organisers. There are some notable ones such as plastic upcycling, usage of compost fertilisers, introduction to herbs and even a demo on healthy eating.
Other than that, you will be able to catch some live musical performances at 8.30pm on 11 March.
Now, if you’re worried about parking, DBKL has it simplified. There are several places where you can park and a shuttle van is provided at some of those parking spots. You can also take the LRT, so you can find out more here.
The admin of DBKL has also hinted that the night view of this festival is different as they have installed some light fixtures.
So if you have nothing much to do during this time period, then you could go and check this festival out.
