It doesn’t even matter how much the discount is worth, as long as we can save a few Ringgit at our favourite makan place, we’re happy. #realtalk

If you completely agree with what we’re saying then you’ll want to keep reading to find out how this Malaysian managed to get up to 25% off his KFC dinner!

WORLD OF BUZZ recently got in touch with Saiful, 29, who posted an Instagram story which was picked up by our team documenting how he managed to get up to 25% discount while dining at KFC.

Saiful shared, “I eat at KFC quite often but this time when I visited the branch in Mid Valley, I noticed they accept Boost for payments now.”

“Since I had money in my Boost app I thought “why not lah“, and paid with Boost. I got a Snack Plate and an extra side of Cheezy Wedges. Hehe.

“A few days later, however, when I wanted to top-up my Boost app, I noticed I received RM5 cashback from Boost!” Saiful shared when asked how he received the discount.

For those who are unfamiliar with Boost, it’s an e-wallet that lets you scan and pay for stuff without the hassle of cash at any of its partnering outlets. Certain Pasar Malams and food trucks included! You can even use it to manage your bills, purchase movie tickets, request money, split bills, and more!

Additionally, every time you make a payment with Boost, you’ll be prompted to shake your phone after which you’ll be given a random amount of cashback. Exciting!

With that said, WORLD OF BUZZ decided to get in touch with Boost and KFC to get to the bottom of this!

And as it turns out, Boost is currently having a promo where Malaysians can get up to 25% off their KFC meals when they pay with Boost!

Just in time for Ramadan too. Woohoo!

All you have to do is spend a minimum of RM20 at any participating KFC branch and you’ll automatically receive RM5 cashback in the app within three working days. That’s right guys, Boost is now accepted at any participating KFC outlet AND you can use it to get RM5 off your meal. Redemptions are limited, so hurry!

After all, what better way to buka puasa than by satisfying your Ramadan fried chicken cravings with RM5 off at KFC, ammirite?

In addition to this promo, we found out that KFC also recently brought back its iconic Golden Egg Crunch chicken!

From just RM14.90 for the two-piece set and RM18.90 for the three-piece set, this salted egg, curry leaves, and sweet basil-infused meal is quite a steal! Alternatively, you can opt to add on some sides and you’ll be able to get RM5 cashback with Boost! So if you’re cracking your head tryna think of where to buka puasa this Ramadan, make sure you drop by KFC, okay! Don’t say we tak ajak.

We’re not sure about you but this promo, as well as the return of the Golden Egg Crunch, is definitely making us hungry. If you’re interested to find out more, or you want that 25% discount on your next KFC purchase, make sure you check out Boost asap!
