An initial investigation found that the accident is believed to have occurred when a trailer passing through the MRR2 Highway had collided with an iron frame during construction on a footbridge.
A factory van with five people inside including the driver got trapped under the rubble resulting in the tragic death of two women. One of the survivors, Zakiah Yaakop, 51, was contacted by her husband while she was stuck under the rubble, reported Astro Awani.
