It’s safe to say that the Covid-19 outbreak and Movement Control Order (MCO) has dampened the moods of Malaysians who are in need of some serious morale.

Several hotels have realised this and have taken the initiative to cheer Malaysiaans up and encourage us to adhere to the MCO by using their hotel room lights to create simple messages.

BERNAMA TV took to their Twitter profile to showcase images of one of these hotels.

They wrote, “Following the spread of the Covid-19 virus that has hit the country and the world, Hotel Tenera, Bangi was seen creating a variety of simple messages that are attractive and creative using the lights of their hotel rooms, every night.”

A netizen, Farhandowski (@FarhanRoslann) took to his Twitter page to add that another hotel in Melaka is doing the same.

He wrote,” Hatten Hotel, Melaka too.”

These hotels used their rooms to write, “Stay Home”, “Be Safe” and even “Kiah” with heart shapes.

It’s so sweet to see how these hotels are willing to help raise spirits and encourage others to stay home for their own safety during such trying times.

Thank you, to whoever who created these messages.
