There are many SOPs present that the students and teachers will have to follow. For example, there can only be 17 students in a classroom at one time and the students MUST have their recess time in their respective classrooms.

The Agong was accompanied by his son, YAM Tengku Arif Bendahara Tengku Muhammad Iskandar Ri’ayatuddin Shah, and Education Minister, Dr Radzi Jidin. The purpose of the visit was to inspect the SOPs present and if everyone was comfortable in abiding by these rules set.
He expressed his gratefulness to the Education Ministry, schools and teachers for their readiness on returning back to school ensuring everyone’s safety and to prevent the risk of infection among teachers and students throughout the school.
Our Agong, being the people’s man, even joked around saying that he’s never been behind a teacher’s table before as he’s always just been a student. He also took the opportunity to advise students and teachers alike to adhere to the new normal.
“I understand there are other students eager to return to their schooling life and meet their friends. Hopefully these students can be patient for now.”
Netizens praised the Sultan for always taking an interest in his people and chimed in with their comments.
“You’re the best Tuanku. You’re a people’s Sultan, hope Allah makes everything easier for you.”
“Alhamdulilah, I’m grateful we’re blessed with an Agong that genuinely cares about his people.”
“The best Tuanku. This will definitely be a memory to cherish for the teachers and students. Congrats also to the Education Ministry and all Malaysians.”
Well, one thing’s for sure, we’re lucky to have such a jovial and easy-going Sultan who cares about his rakyat this much. We hope students and teachers across Malaysia can adjust accordingly to new SOPs and rules set by the government.
