For our abang-abang bomba, no task is too big (or small) and every call will be responded to with full attention and effort.
Recently, a video of our heroes on one of their rescue missions circulating heavily online. But they weren’t fighting a wild wire this time. Instead, they were trying to save a little girl who got her poor legs stuck in a kitchen gas tank.
According to Berita Harian, the incident happened on Monday (8 July) where the child was on her way to Bukit Mertajam with her uncle. For some reason, there was a gas tank the car accompanying them. Naturally, the little girl’s legs got stuck it.
The spokesperson from the Jabatan Bomba dan Penyelamat Malaysia Pulau Pinang elaborated,
“Our team took about 15 minutes to cut the upper part of the tank using a specialized tool before successfully freeing the girl’s legs.”
The girl was visibly afraid of the whole process, which made rescuing her all the more difficult. Nevertheless, the firemen tried their best to make it as painless as possible.
