Watch: Perodua Kelisa Braves Through Waters That Flooded KL Like A Boss!

The heavy downpour yesterday (10 September) in Kuala Lumpur caused massive floods in various locations, especially in the Masjid Jamek area. Photos and videos of the incident show the water rising and covering almost half of the vehicles affected by the flood.

Owners of these cars were probably left stranded as the gushing waters made it impossible for them to get into their vehicles and bring them to a safe place. However, that wasn’t a problem for this Perodua Kelisa.

A viral video on social media shows a Perodua Kelisa braving through the floods in Jalan Dang Wangi.

Being one of the smallest cars on Malaysian roads, the Kelisa was almost engulfed in the water, but nothing was going to stop it from getting to its destination.

Despite the possibility of getting stuck, the Kelisa presses on and actually manages to drive through the entire pool of water.

Malaysians who witnessed the astonishing sight can be seen cheering the Kelisa on as it emerges from the water onto the dry ground before leaving the scene.

Netizens commented that the owner of the Kelisa must’ve been super proud of their car while others jokingly advised the owner to keep this car in the museum to look back on the memories that took place on 10 September.
