Most of the time in our daily lives, we figure out stuff in our own little way without looking for instructions, e.g. winging a recipe or fixing that IKEA table. However, little mysteries always exist and we are strangely okay with not figuring it out. As an example, a majority of us do not know how to close a cereal box correctly.
On 10th May, a woman from Blackpool, United Kingdom has shared the correct way to close a cereal box with the rest of the world and netizens were SHOOKED. Her post on Facebook has garnered over 92,000 shares in just a short span of two days and it’s still gaining momentum. That’s a lot!
In the post, she says,
“It’s only taken me 40 years, but I now know the correct way to close a cereal box. It takes only seconds and then no more dried up cereal and ugly torn boxes to greet me every morning.”
Without further ado, let’s get to the video!

So the first thing you do is to flip both the short flaps into the box. Then flip the longer flap (not the one with the slot) in. Fold in the sides and slide the other flap (with the slot) in. That’s all!
Now you know how to keep your cereal boxes tidy! What are some tips and hacks that you know of? Tell us in the comments!
