This is a deal made between Touch ‘n Go and Shell in Klang Valley, and there will even be a future plan of letting motorists enjoy the benefits of paying fuel using RFID at the gas stations under the oil company.

About the aforementioned future plan for RFID fuelling, the goal is to allow customers to pay for gas without the need to use their mobile phones, or even the point-of-sale system. Payment can be done when an overhead scanner reads the radio-frequency from each RFID tag and the amount of money will be automatically deducted. We hope that this payment option can be ready to use soon.

This sounds kind of revolutionary and we hope that it’ll gradually improve everyone’s quality of life!
